Bit of knitting news & Another Meme
Little knitting news: The Kimono Jacket fits perfectly! I am so happy. Picture tomorrow.
ALSO: Luc's Mom asked me to knit a kimono jacket in white for when he meets his extended family next month. We are going tomorrow to find some luxury yarn at my favourite yarn shop
A Stolen Meme
1. Flip to page 18, paragraph 4 in the book closest to you right now, what does it say?
Welsh Heels: etc. etc. It's a pretty long paragraph!
It is Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks
2. If you stretch out your left arm - as far as possible, what are you touching?
The wall.
3. What’s the last program you watched on tv?
Oprah - how to interpret baby cries.

9:25 pm.
(It's actually 9:33)
5. Except the computer, what can you hear right now?
Nothing at all and it is bliss!
6. When was the last time you were outside and what did you do?
About 45 min. ago. I cleaned out the trunk in my car and set the battery up on a trickle charger (it's been off the road long enough to be totally dead)
7. What are you wearing?
Jeans and the comfiest burgundy long sleeve v-neck shirt.
8. What did you dream last night.
Honestly I can't remember which is odd for me - usually I recall in technicolor...
9. When was the last time you laughed?
I laugh all the time - so it's hard to keep track.
10. What’s on the walls, in the room you’re in right now?
Tonnes of little blue and white Dutch items - my Mom loves the Dutch kitsch.
11. Have you seen anything strange lately?
Sure have. Why do you ask?
Tonight at Starbucks the oddest young guy with cornrows (looking all Federline) came in all dozy and confused and stopped to admire my friends baby. He was pretty out of place for this Starbucks and I was really surprised how into the baby he was.
13. What’s the last film you saw?
Borat!
14. If you became a multimillionaire, what would you do with the money?
Set up my Mom and my siblings with great homes and some savings. Take my entire family on a trip somewhere (which would be a logistical nightmare but I am stubborn.) Head back to school OR maybe open a book/yarn shop - with great coffee. Oooh both!

I had imaginary friends until I was at least 12.

17. Do you like dancing?
I LOVE dancing.
18. George Bush?
No thank you.
19. What do you want your children’s names to be, girl/boy?
Ok. My kid would hate me but I love Leia. A son would definitely be named for my Grandfather, Kenneth. Maybe Kenneth Ian, or Ian Kenneth.
20. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Yes - but only as a dream. My family is too important, I couldn't stand to be so far away from them.
21. Who should do this meme?
Anyone who wants to.
