Sensational Severus Snape Sock Yarn!!

Newly arrived today and ohhhh does it smell good (citrus-y Kool-Aid-y YUM) and it is super soft and squashy.
Thank you Stitch-N-Snitch. The yarn is beautiful! I cannot wait to see what sort of wicked socks I can knit up with this yarn - maybe some dragon-ish pattern...
I wonder how much longer we are going to have to wait for that final book?
No knitting content today - work is too crazy. Setting up the building for Kinders & Preschool, both of which start next week AND we are having an Open House on Saturday AND we are being accredited AND we are short about 4 staff.
So, yeah not much time to knit or anything else really.

Very cool yarn and color. I can totally see some dragon design:) Not much knitting going on over here at all. Just a few rows when I can in between tearing down walls in the kitchen. When I do pick up the knitting needles I know how much I have missed them.LOL

Great colour on that yarn.
Of course this is a week too late but my daughter & I drove down (from Ladner) to Third Place Books to see The Harlot on Sep 3. She (and the bookstore itself) was well worth the drive, also....we took a lunch detour into Anacortes and went to a terrific shop called Anacrossstitch - I got some gorgeous Noro OUT OF THE SALE BIN for U$4.48/skein.
Hope your school stress settles down soon - my youngest is in gr 12 this year.

You sound so busy! Take time to stay sane! :0)

The new yarn is great. What about using a dragon scale lace pattern? I saw one the other day, I think on The Knitting Doctor.

Oh, the yarn is just gorgeous!

And incidentally, last week we sent in a pre-pre-order to Chapters - have you got those? - to be informed as to when the 7th book comes out - I am SO excited, more than the kids, I'm afraid... so I'll let you know when we hear...
