Ravenclaw Raglan

Well I have made some serious progress with my HP sweater today...as I sat for nearly 3 hrs waiting to see a Dr. I thought I would get the appointment out of the way and have the rest of the afternoon for napping! Boy was I wrong.
But I am nearly onto the third stripe now...see above.
I am anticipating some issues when it comes to the yoke and sleeves- only because I have never made a sweater in the round before but...we shall see.
in the end it should look a little something like this: http://katieknits.blogspot.com/2005/08/im-ravenclaw-crazy.html but of course bigger!
I don't know if any of you have ever tried to modify a pattern based on your gauge - but let me tell you when I did it and I triple checked the math -- the sweater band came out big enough for 2 of me! I frogged it and started over 105 stitches less than the math told me...quite a difference I know. So the end result of this sweater may well be quite a surprise.
If it is flattering I will post a pic of me in the sweater.
